“Thoughts become things, choose the good ones”, Mike Dooley.
This performance will take place in a circular space which is an abstract image of the human mind, (A geodesic Dome). It is an invitation to an exploration from within of the energetic dynamics of the human mind, to be present to a magnificent dance and be a part of the movement of thought.
Initial notes for a general direction of the narrative :
· From nothing an idea takes form, surrounded by neural movement and electric currents,
These, stream into it from time to time shaping and changing its form, never the less its evolution is constant and unstoppable.
· The audience is invited to assist and take part in the marvelous transformation of energy into a Physical reality. The origine of life.
· It is a miracle taking place every day in every human being’s mind, the formation of an idea, a thought that ultimately becomes the physical reality in which one lives.
· “The basic question I started from was: Why do things take place?
Or, how do things assume a certain form and not another?”
· The idea is in constant interaction with the environment. Its form changing from its energetic quality to that of denser physical mater, boundaries are blurred between the inside and outer environments.
· The audience is confronted with being a part of an artistic experiential scientific experiment where they are observing the mind’s operation from the inside. This presence, by force changes the natural way of things.
· This performance speaks of the transformation of an idea/spirit/energy into matter/body/physical reality and on into the next transformation, whatever it may be.
It speaks about what I see as the ultimate miracle of life, the constant movement and change, the transformation in which we live, inside out and vice versa. It speaks of this interrelatedness between these two artificial spaces: “The inside” and “the outside” and the sometimes desperate attempt to stop the movement in order to try and understand the reality in which we live.
Ultimately, it speaks of the possibility of the creation of a new reality every second.

Of the concept and stage direction :
This show will be a live installation.
From the moment the structure of the Dome is set up (in a museum, outdoors, in a festival or any other cultural event or space that may be interested to host it) there is this dance and movement taking place within it, a constant projection of images and sound.
The show itself is an event, taking place in the installation which, as said before is the abstraction of the image of the human mind, from the inside.
It will be 60 minutes long.
We will be using, sound and music, visual images, projected and various elements hanging in the air creating the aerial space of the mind.
Here are some pictures from our research for the aerial elements:
In this “living” space, physical movement/dance, live performance on the ground, on the membrane of the structure and in the air will take place. There may be interventions of other forms of live performance in and around the space; these may change during the tour of the live installation.
And last, but not least, the audience will be free to move in the space, thus interacting with the movement that takes palace and be an integral part of the event.
The creation process will take 3 years.
It Will have different phases:
Extensive research of the mind and its operation, 2009-2010 (in process)
- A collaborative work that gives the space and time for interaction, and inter-influences and further implementation of those in the personal research, writing and creation. A travelling laboratory of research on the ground and in the air started in April 2010 and will continue through 2011, with the aim of finding the artist to interpret the role of the “Idea”. (in process)
- The invention, creation and physical experimentation with invented aerial elements 2010-2011.
- The development of a narrative, based on three different scores that intertwine and interact with each other in the space of the show. (the digital image, the music and the live performance) 2011-2012
- The exploration of the space by the artists and the insertion of the live performance and event into the installation, directing all this into a coherent show. 2012-2013.
Pictures of the first mobile laboratories in Israel, at hangar Adama in the Neguev desert and at Shabazi Circus in Binyamina, in April 2010:
· Fund raising and the acquisition of the installation and performance space. 2010-2012.
Estimated cost of this production at this point : 125,000 Euro or 590,000 Is.
